Help Timi Navigate Life After Sean's Loss

Hi, this is Timi, and I’m reaching out during the most painful and uncertain time of my life.

As you know, my husband, Sean, passed away very suddenly last week. Sean was my everything. Our 36 years together were amazing; we traveled, we enjoyed shows, and we loved the life we created together.

He was a very giving man, caring, strong, kind, compassionate, and always ready to help anyone in need. He touched so many lives, and now I’m hoping that those who knew him, or anyone moved by our story, might be able to help me in return.

He took such great care of me but, unfortunately, he wasn't great at preparing for the future. He had no life insurance, no savings, and no provisions put into place for a circumstance like this, leaving me in the worst situation of my life. The heartbreak of losing him in itself is unbearable, but now with the overwhelming financial stress of covering his final expenses, needing to find a place to stay, foreclosing on our new house, taking over the bills, and losing everything we both worked so hard for feels unendurable. And doing so while trying to figure out how just to survive day to day.

We'd just bought our house in this new city 6 weeks ago and only made 1 payment so far, so I'll have to foreclose and move asap.

My job was working as Sean's assistant in order to get my medical coverage paid for by his company, but that's been terminated now so I have no income, no job, no insurance, and no savings.

I'm asking for $20,000 to help with final costs, storage, moving expenses, and basic living needs while I try to find a new way forward.
