7th Teriyaki Fire Relief Fund

Hello everyone, my name is Chloe.

A lot has happened to my family in just one week.

On July 1st, 2021 an electrical fire broke out and our restaurant was completely engulfed in flames.

As a small business we were hit hard at the start of the pandemic. But as businesses started opening up, we were gaining momentum and had the opportunity to serve returning as well as new customers. Unfortunately the fire hit us at the peak of our sales. It was disappointing because this restaurant was not only a place for our customers to enjoy, but it was also home to the employees that were like family to us. My siblings and I spent a lot of our time here while we were all in school. Losing the restaurant to the fire meant losing a second home for our family.

To make matters worse, on July 5th, I got into a 6-car accident. The crash was so bad that it totaled my car but I was fortunate enough to escape with only a damaged elbow and knee. Each tragedy only made us realize how precious life truly is.
