Help Andrew’s son battle brain cancer

Some of you will know who Andrew and his wife are. Some of you reading this do not. Given what has happened to them, they have asked me not to share their last name, or the name of their son. Of course, I want to respect that while trying to help them out.

Andrew is a good friend of mine - he used to be my supervisor at Zerorez. I called him a few weeks ago to ask him for some advice - he is that kind of a helpful guy. After he had helped me out, I could tell from the tone of his voice that things weren’t going normally for him. So I asked him what was up.

“ My heart went out to Andrew as he explained that his oldest son had recently been diagnosed  with  cancer following a surgery to remove a tumor from his brain. I listened as Andrew told me what the next 9 months would involve for him and his young family. They would have to travel out of state for his son’s radiation treatment and later he would have inpatient chemo treatments. I could tell all this put a heavy weight on Andrew. He wants to be by his son’s side as he fights this brave battle. Will you please join me in making that possible?”
