My family needs your help.

My fiancé Karla and I have been very fortunate to have been able to rent an apartment together for the past two years in the neighborhood we love that provides ample space for our cats. Our cats are a huge part of our life: they are our family who we love dearly and take care of as if they were our children. To us, they are our children. This apartment has truly become our home.

Despite our best efforts and all the help and support we’ve been given, we have been increasingly struggling to make ends meet. Over the past month, this has turned into an emergency. Between my own ongoing failure to hold down a job due to my debilitating health issues and our many expenses, the bills are relentlessly piling up. We are now late on nearly all of our major bills and are unable to pay this month’s rent. We are facing mounting debt, are nearly completely without any money, and are simply not able to meaningfully improve our dire financial situation on our own.

We are now legitimately facing homelessness and really do need all of the help we can get.
