Help Jennifer Save Her Best Friend, Molly ❤️
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister Jennifer, who is wheelchair-bound and lives on a limited fixed income. Jennifer’s world truly revolves around her sweet dog, Molly — her constant companion, emotional support, and greatest source of joy.
As a baby, Molly was diagnosed with Luxating Patella in both knees - a preexisting condition common in small dogs where the kneecap slips out of place. Some dogs can live their entire life without ever needing surgery, as the kneecap can pop back into place manually, but Molly's kneecaps no longer pop into place and stay in place and has reached the point where surgery is needed.
In addition, Molly was recently diagnosed with a torn ACL - a secondary condition to Luxating Patella. Molly was predisposed to tearing her ACL due to having Luxating Patella - as a result, she is in a lot of discomfort, limps/hobbles around and can barely put weight on her foot.
At just 8 and a half years old, Molly still has so much life ahead of her - she could live another 6 or 10 years, but without surgery, her condition will only worsen and severely limit her quality of life. Unfortunately, the surgery she desperately needs is expensive, and Jennifer simply does not have the financial means to cover it.
For Jennifer, Molly is more than a pet — she is family. Molly gives her comfort, companionship, and unconditional love every single day. Seeing her in pain has been heartbreaking, and Jennifer feels helpless knowing she can’t afford the care Molly needs on her own.
We are asking for help to cover:
• Molly’s Luxating Patella & ACL surgery - a single surgery to correct both conditions
• Veterinary visits and diagnostics (blood work & images)
• Post-surgery recovery and medications
Every donation — no matter how small — will make a difference. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting Jennifer and helping give Molly the chance to heal and continue bringing joy into her life.
