Baby Maverick
Donation protected
On July 19th my daughter was in a car accident. A man ran a red light. She was 18 weeks pregnant.
We had just found out she was having a little boy He was named Maverick. They were so excited this was their rainbow baby. Jasmine had lost a baby in January a little boy named Braxton.
Unfortunately, the impact of the accident caused Jasmine's water to break. For the next 6 weeks, Jasmine was on bed rest and doing anything she could to get to the viability stage of 23 1/2 weeks. We had so many people all over the country praying for this miracle. The fact that Maverick had no fluid did not allow his lungs to mature and the doctors did not think he would make it. Despite all odds, he made it to 23 1/2 weeks. Jasmine was admitted to the hospital on the 26th. They begin giving her steroids and fluids to try and get Maverick's lungs to some kind of maturity. The doctors were surprised at the growth and strength of Maverick.
On Monday, August 30th around 1 p.m. Maverick's heart was dropping. Because of this, they had to take Jasmine in for an emergency C-section. He was born at 3:01 pm and he passed away around 5:20 pm. He was 1lb and 12 oz and beautiful perfect in every way.
First, we want to thank everyone for their prayers.
We wanted to do something to help Jasmine and Bart. If you would like to donate anything or even provide a meal it would be greatly appreciated. We know it is hard right now for everyone financially, so if you can not donate prayers are still very much appreciated.
Thank you again for all the prayers
