As some of you may know, my cousin, Tiffany, has been in the hospital for the past week.
A little back history, Tiffany had her gallbladder removed in 2013 but somehow her body keeps producing stones. She had an ERCP done in 2018 to remove a few stones and had a fairly easy recovery. Well, last Saturday she ended up in the emergency room with another stone. She was eventually admitted to a hospital 2 hours from home because that was the closest place that could preform the procedure she needed. The GI docs were able to retrieve the stone but unfortunately the procedure caused pancreatitis and she has been in terrible pain. They did a CT scan on Friday to see how things were going, which revealed a few more medical issues. She has also developed pneumonia and is on oxygen. Without oxygen she is sitting in the mid 70s. The CT scan also showed 2 large masses on her right breast, that will need biopsies, a done cyst on her left iliac wing, and a partially paralyzed stomach. Tiffany's parents flew out Friday night from Florida to Wyoming to help with the kids. The hospital is only 45 minutes from where Marc works, therefore he is able to visit with her each day. As most of you know, Tiffany is also self employed. While being self employed has many perks, it also has some downfalls. She doesn't currently have health insurance or PTO!! We are trying to raise as much money as possible to help ease the financial burdens so that Tiffany can soley focus on getting better. Feel free to reach out to me or Kathleen, Tiffany's mom, if you have any questions.
We really appreciate all of the help and prayers!!
