If you know Dan, you know he's the guy who keeps us all laughing — the one with a sharp wit, a HUGE heart, and a love for fast cars and fun. He’s a core part of the COM Sports Car Club community, a devoted husband to his incredible wife, and a proud dad to two awesome boys.

On Friday evening, Dan was involved in a devastating electric scooter accident. The injuries he sustained were severe enough to require a med flight to UMass Memorial Medical in Worcester, where he received critical care in the ICU for a few days. Thanks to incredible medical care — and his own unshakable stubbornness — he is recovering and cracking jokes (even if a bit less Tom Cruise-y at the moment, by his own account ).

He has a series of complex surgeries ahead and a long road to full recovery. Though his vitals are strong and his mind is as sharp as ever, the process will take time, rest, and resources.

We’re raising funds to help Dan and his family through this unexpected chapter.
