Hi my name is Ciara and I am reaching out to anyone that could possibly give a little help to our very expensive IVF journey.

I never thought I would reach this stage never mind ever thinking of asking for help through a platform like this.

However after 13 painful years of infertility we have been given hope for the 1st time by ARK IVF clinic in Greece. For the first time we got someone who said Yes there is always hope instead of it won't happen , too many complications, your are too fat etc.

The heartbreak of putting soo much effort in against a rare form of PCOS, menorrghia, etc to meet the BMI criteria for our 1 free treatment to be told the legislation is changing from BMI of 35 to 30 in the next few months. To sit there pleading, crying and begging to go on the l8 month waiting list as I would reach the criteria by the time it was our turn to be told " sorry no and sure it probably won't work".

This journey has taught many things in life and has pushed me to breaking point. But pride be damned, I've bared my soul to everyone about the difficulties, heartbreak, stress etc this entails. I have caused upset to others by not being able to cope with their well deserved new additions and have missed out on celebrations etc due to the unwanted and with no warning inability to celebrate with them. I have felt shame, anger, sadness , depression, anxiety, lost myself and ultimately Failure over the past 13 years since I miscarried little August on the 9th Feb 2011.

So to end this sob yet truthful story lol I am asking for ANY support you can give us to fund our £7000 fertility journey. We hadn't budgeted for that amount as we discovered due to my age etc that we will need additional support such as genetic testing etc. We have also been advised to proceed alot earlier than we had planned due to a number of factors, so if we raise £1000 this will help us immensely.

I cannot express my heartfelt thanks , love and prayers to anyone that will be able to donate ANY amount as little as 1 pound can go a long way!
