Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,

I am reaching out with a heartfelt plea for help for my beloved cat, Luna. Luna's journey has been anything but ordinary, filled with challenges that have tested her spirit and ours. Luna was born with a severe hard and soft cleft palate, a rare and complex condition that has made her uninsurable and left her facing immense difficulties from the very start.

When Luna was first born, she was misdiagnosed by the ER, and this almost cost her life. At just two weeks old, she developed pneumonia, a terrifying experience that nearly took her from us. Since then, we have been feeding her through a tube around the clock, fighting for her survival with tears, love, and determination.

Despite the odds, Luna has grown into a beautiful and resilient adult cat. She has never experienced the simple joy of drinking water or eating on her own; instead, she has relied entirely on a feeding tube. Every day, Luna's diet consists of a special mixture fed through this tube, starting with milk and transitioning to a concentrated diet blend with water. Her journey has been tough, but Luna's spirit remains unbroken.

We have consulted with numerous specialists, but very few are willing to take on Luna's challenging case. The surgery she needs is incredibly complex, requiring a minimum of two procedures with no guarantees of success. Yet, we remain hopeful and determined to give Luna the life she deserves.

The cost of these surgeries is beyond our financial reach, especially since we were unable to insure Luna due to her pre-existing condition.
