Mark Strong

Hi, my name is Mikayla and I created this to help my dad (parents) with some of their medical costs. If you know my dad personally then you know he does not ask for help but will be the first to help someone else. My dad has always been there for anyone who has ever needed him and it's time we return the favor.

My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer 5 years ago. Back in 2018 he went in for his 50 year old check up. He was told that his PSA was elevated and that it was nothing to be worried about. A few weeks later he was having his prostate removed and meeting with Dr's to discuss treatment options. Fast forward and here we are today.

God has opened up so many doors for him and his access to treatment options. My goal is to raise money so that my parent's are able to make a decision not based off of cost but based off of what will be the best route for my dad moving forward. My entire life these two provided everything my brother and I could have ever needed. I am doing this so they can receive the best possible treatment to get my dad back to being strong, healthy, and living the quality of life he deserves to be living.

This disease is terrible. To anyone who has ever lived through it or watched a love one go through it, I pray for you. I pray for strength, comfort and peace.

All of these funds will be going towards Dr. visits and treatments. My parents will be doing some traveling for treatments and this cost will help with their transportation. Insurance is a wonderful thing but some of their options are not covered. These funds will allow my dad to receive the best treatment to get him back to his goofy, active self.

My entire life my dad has been my superhero. Sometimes a superhero needs saving too. God has been so good and continues to open up doors. Glory to God to how far we have come and to where He is going to lead us! Thank you to everyone who has helped and reached out. Our family appreciates all of it!
