Men’s Mental Health and Suicide
Donation protected
Tragically, on the 16th September 2024, Cameron, a much loved son, grandson, nephew, cousin, partner and friend, took his own life. Cameron was only 19 years old.
Cameron had the most infectious smile, always kind, caring, loving, friendly, the list is endless, he was the most perfect person. He is so missed and loved by all who knew him.
Cameron had been involved in a road traffic accident that tragically took his friend’s life. Over the course of 9 months, Cameron’s mental health deteriorated and he suffered with survivors guilt and PTSD.
84 men a week in the UK take their own lives, that’s 12 a day. This is not ok, saving lives needs to happen now and as a family, for Cameron and all men out there, ‘The Cameron Williams Foundation’ are going to do as much as we can to help.
Starting with The Bristol Half Marathon.
Cameron’s Auntie, Amelia, friends, Fin, Max, Dylan, Kyran, Danielle and Sharon will be running the Bristol Half Marathon on the 11th May 2025 to raise money for Men’s Mental Health and Suicide Charities and of course to raise awareness.
The two chosen charities are:
• SOBS - Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide
SOBS help individuals support each other, at the time of their loss and in the months and years that follow. They aim to provide safe, confidential environments where people can share their experiences and feelings, giving and gaining support from each other.
• Talk Club
Talk Club is a UK male mental health charity helping men to improve their mental health.
We understand that financially times are difficult, however, every pound you donate can help to save someone’s life. So even if it’s £1 we will be forever grateful for your contribution and kindness.
Cameron; your story is not over, we will continue it for you.
