UPDATE: I finally got my MRI results!!! The labrum in my shoulder (the cartilage that holds it in place) is very stretched out which causes my shoulder to dislocate on a daily basis multiple times. So now I am trying to afford the surgery I’ve been waiting years for so I can finally have some normalcy back! Any help is deeply appreciated! My name is Dakota Adams. When I was about 16 years old, my shoulder dislocated and it would not stay in the socket for more than a day for a long time. I’m now 20 years old and still struggling with this issue. Some days it dislocates 10-20 times, and I can’t do physical therapy because the exercises just dislocate it again.

Also, due to my condition, my hours at work have been cut back to 25 hours a week, and that’s not really enough to survive, much less pay medical bills. The next step to see if I am eligible for a shoulder replacement is to get an MRI, and after insurance, it will cost over $1000 up front, and due to me not having credit, I cannot do a payment plan.
