Dear friends, family, and community,

As many of you know, our dear friend and roommate Jules passed away in our apartment Saturday November 7, 2020.

To remember Jules is to experience joy. Their absence is a loss of unfathomable magnitude, but so many people will carry them in their hearts wherever they go. 

It goes without saying that this tragedy has left Emilie and I with  some ugly/unfortunate logistical matters. Emilie and I were able to get out of our lease by agreeing to pay full rent for December - January (in total 3,400) and foregoing our security deposit. However, we are still left responsible for Jules’s portion of rent for those months. 

I am setting up this GoFund me in order to cover a portion of Jules’s outstanding rent. Emilie and I are shaken, stressed, and struggling to accumulate the funds we need to pay our landlords and move into our new apartment. Any support is deeply appreciated. Thank you all.
