In December of 2012 I was diagnosed with Multiple Myleoma. It is an incurable cancer. There are treatments that can buy me time. The drugs used are very expensive and hard on the body. I have had near 20 blood transfusions and have been anemic for 5 years because of the cancer and treatments. I have kidney disease also as the cancer is in my kidneys. I am currently dealing with a compression fracture as the cancer weakens the bones. It is a horrendous cancer and they call MULTIPLE  Myeloma because it is a blood cancer and is all over the body.
I am asking for help with the expenses as there is so much deductibles and copays for all the treatments and blood transfusions. Our co pay for every transfusion is $360. I am now taking shots of chemo that I go in twice a week for two weeks with a week off and there is a copay for every one of those shots. I also spend around $400 to $500 on supplements to help my body deal with the side effects of the chemo and to strengthen it so I can function. I have 3 young girls I am raising. I am asking help so I can have as much time as possible to be their mom. I am asking help so my children can have a some what normal childhood. I do not like to tell them all the time we can't have this or that and we can't go places because there just isn't any money.
This is a very expensive cancer to have. We live very frugal, we do not have much, so these extra expenses have been really hard on us.
We do not have cell phones except for one go phone for emergencies when I need to call for help when I have to go straight to the hospital.
We do not have cable or TV services. We do not eat out. Our house is falling apart because there is no extra money to fix anything.
So if you can help, we would really appreciate it and you would be helping my kids have their mom around a little longer.
I was give 3 years, the chromosomes test on my cancer showed a very resistant and aggressive Multiple Myeloma cancer cells. I pray for healing but only God knows my time. I have hope, but I can't do it alone. Every day I take care of my family and house. I do not have a care giver, my husband works. So on bad days I still get up. It would be so nice to be able to hire some one to even help at times. I so wish some one could even just paint my house, I have been too sick to paint it. The walls have never been painted. It is so dreary but I can't do it. I spend my days in this house seeing so much that could be done but I can't. I am here or the oncologist's office.
It would also be helpful to have extra money to see a ND doctor to help with my supplements and care of my body to help it heal.
