Car Drove Into My Home

Hey y'all,

My name is Karen Obilom. I'm fundraising for something I never thought would happen in a million years.

Yesterday evening a car sped into my fence and into the side of my home. A home I spent months and months putting love and care into, all by myself. And it's been hard enough doing it alone, and honestly, I'm tired of trying to do everything by myself. And I'm not in a position financially to do it by myself anymore. Asking for favors is extremely hard for me but we all know life happens too fast for comfort.

I'm an actress, so unfortunately I've been affected by the strike. I'm not sure when it will be over and there's only so much I can do and plan for.

The money I'm fundraising will cover the deductible for my home insurance, the fees, and a bit for the changed flight back home.
