FCK Breast Cancer

Hi All, I'm Jenn Roussell; there comes a time in life when you need a helping hand. If you need help organizing, moving, cleaning, grabbing the dance costume your daughter left at home, house sitting, watching the kids, watching your pets, partner in crime, etc. There is always that one friend you call. The friend who doesn’t ask why you need a ride home from somewhere you shouldn’t be. Let me introduce you to Krista Levin. She is a loving, caring, compassionate, powerful, amazing single mother of 2, and she has been my BFF for over 40 years. Well, she has been thrown the worst curveball in life. YUP!! Cancer. Triple-negative Breast Cancer. Only 10-15% of breast cancers are Triple Negative!!! It's not the typical hormonal type, so my dear friend had to start with Chemo! On April 26th, she will have a Bilateral Mastectomy followed by two reconstructive surgeries, all 8-12 weeks apart.

Krista has worked her full-time job through her 24 weeks of Chemo! After losing all her PTO, she recently went on disability this week after finishing her last treatment! As tired as she is, she still enjoys taking care of her plants, making her new place her own, Book Club and having friends visit as she fights and kicks cancer's ass every day! But the medical bills are piling up as her insurance coverage isn’t the greatest.

I’m sure she’ll be mad at me for this, but I'm asking if there is anything you can contribute to the fund that is MUCH APPRECIATED! Krista is a unique, kind, selfless human being! She is the kind of person who does more for others than herself. Krista has always put herself second, even during this fight. I’m amazed every day by her strength!!
