This is my baby, Rolo. A couple months ago, I took him to my vet after noticing a small, red bump coming out after pooping. The vet collected a fecal sample, which ended up being negative, and put him on probiotics for a month with no resolution. I returned for a follow up, and the vet insisted everything was normal. Thus, I decided to seek a second opinion. The new vet determined there is a rectal mass that needs to come off. She referred me to a speciality center for surgery because of the location of the growth but told me if the cost was too much to let her know, as she “loves surgery” and will try her best. Well, as expected, the surgery from the speciality clinic is beyond my financial means, so I called to inform the vet. I received a call back from the vet’s office last week advising the surgery is beyond the doctor’s capabilities. I was completely beside myself and felt crazy, because she literally assured me she could help and then acted like she never said that. Luckily, after 2 more vets, I found a non-specialty one who can finally perform the surgery. However, I still need assistance with the cost. As you can see, the entire amount is $1300. I was able to come up with $500 on my own, so I’m asking for the remaining $800. Any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated. Rolo is my entire world, and I cannot be without him.
