Hi, my name is Angela AKA Lily’s mom and I am fundraising to help with the costs of Lily’s surgery. On Sunday, May 7th Lily was hit by a UTV. I rushed her to Paw Health 24 Hour Animal Care Center where we spent 5 hours ensuring she was okay. The good news was the only major concern they had was a broken leg. She will have surgery to repair and put a rod in her leg on Thursday, May 11. This is the soonest we could get her into a specialty surgeon. They are estimating a $4,600 bill for the procedure. Currently we’ve paid $2,096.33 for xrays, an ultrasound, blood work, sedation to set her bone and splint it until surgery, pain medication, an anti-inflammatory, and antibiotics. She also has another appointment tomorrow to change her splint bandage which cost $269.39 the first time, but will only go up if she needs to be sedated again. The first night home was very difficult. I stayed awake while her sisters and I tried to comfort her as she whined throughout the night. We want to be able to get her the best care possible and appreciate anything you are willing to donate!
