My name is Eric Rieber, Assistant Chief for the Garfield Fire Department in Garfield, MN. I am starting this campaign in order to help out a fellow Brother firefighter in need.
Keith Ramsay (1560) first off, is one of the most honest, proud, thoughtful men I know. His wife, Christine, has been diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia. Keith has been working his full time job, is a member of the fire department, and is heavily involved in his church. With the onset of this illness, there has been compounding home duties, and the bills are piling up. He has had to hire a Personal Care Attendant for a few days a week in order to help lighten his load and keep working in order to stay afloat.
You're financial contribution will help him not only financially, but emotionally as well in order to not worry so much about the stressors of paying medical bills, PCA's, etc.
I have never done anything like this but knowing Keith personally, I know that he would do anything he could in order to help out someone in need. He is the first to offer help, and the last to accept it. He is the type of guy that would take the shirt off his back to help you out. I am hoping that we can rally together and help him out as well!
