BJ & Karly Jernigan’s son, Kayson (3 years old), was diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on April 8th, 2020. He immediately started receiving blood and platelet transfusions. He had surgery to place a port in his chest for chemo treatments. He has a long road ahead with once weekly trips to Birmingham (4 hours away) for 2.5-3 yrs for chemo treatments along with the numerous medications he will need to take at home.

Please consider donating to help Kayson and his family with travel expenses, medical expenses, and any other expenses that come up during this time. Karly will only be working part-time in order to take him back and forth to treatments and to be there when he has overnight hospital admissions.
