Support Betty's Battle With Cancer

01/07/25: Hi everyone, my name is Morgan Maluk and I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of my mother Betty. She is 56 years old and was just suddenly diagnosed with terminal stage IV pancreatic cancer that has already spread to her lungs. Because her insurance company Aetna denied multiple requests for an abdominal CT scan from multiple doctors over the last 2 years, I now have to lose my mother at 25 years old. She is currently still working 2 jobs everyday to be able to pay the bills. Any money donated will go towards everyday bills as well as her upcoming medical bills and/or funeral expenses. We don't have a current prognosis time but I will update this as we gain more information after her biopsy this week. 1/16/25: Hi everyone, update on my mom: we went over everything with the oncologist today and got confirmation that it is terminal stage IV pancreatic cancer that metastisized to her lungs. Her prognosis is 6 months to a year but we're trying to extend that as much as possible. Unfortunately the tumors have grown and spread quickly so she will have to be on a very rough form of chemo. Next week she is going to Sloan Kettering to see if she is a candidate for some trials to try things along side the chemo.
