Ayuda a salvar a Dobby

Este fin de semana fuimos de excursión por la zona de Güéjar Sierra. Allí arriba encontramos a este podenco abandonado. Estaba en muy malas condiciones: extremadamente delgado, herido y asustado de las personas.

Le dimos agua y comida, y poco a poco empezó a confiar en nosotros. A pesar de todo lo que había pasado, decidió seguirnos durante 12 kilómetros.

Incluso cuando su herida empeoraba cada vez más, se negó a separarse de nuestro lado. Al final, solo podía caminar sobre tres patas. Todo porque le mostramos un poco de cariño.

Lo llamamos Dobby.

Es el perro más dulce y tranquilo, y está claro que solo quiere ser querido.

Después de la excursión, pedimos ayuda y conseguimos llevarlo a un veterinario, donde ahora está recibiendo cuidados intensivos. Resulta que este pequeño perro que nos siguió durante tanto tiempo estaba muy enfermo.

Sus facturas veterinarias ya han alcanzado casi 700 €, incluyendo pruebas, escáneres y su estancia en el hospital, pero sin incluir la medicación. Hemos fijado el objetivo en 1000 € para asegurarnos de cubrir todos los gastos.

Compartiremos todos los recibos para que podáis ver exactamente a dónde va vuestra ayuda. Si recaudamos más de lo necesario, el dinero restante se donará a una organización local de rescate animal en Granada, que también ayudará a Dobby a encontrar un hogar definitivo.

Dobby ya ha luchado muchísimo para sobrevivir. Ahora solo necesita una oportunidad para recuperarse y, con suerte, encontrar el hogar lleno de amor que se merece.

Help Save Dobby

This weekend, we went for a hiking trip near Güéjar Sierra. Up there, we found this abandoned Podenco. He was in a really bad condition. Terribly skinny, hurt and scared of people.

We gave him water and food, and slowly, he began to trust us. Despite everything he had been through, he chose to follow us for 12 kilometers.

Even as his injury got worse and worse, he refused to leave our side. By the end, he could only walk on three legs. All because we showed him a little kindness.

We named him Dobby.

He is the sweetest, most gentle dog, and it’s clear he just wants to be loved.

After the hike, we reached out for help and managed to get him to a vet, where he is now receiving intensive care.

It turns out, this little dog, that followed us for so long was very sick.

His vet bills have already reached almost €700, including tests and scans and his stay in the hospital - but medication not included. We have set the goal to €1000 to make sure everything is covered.

We will share all receipts so you can see exactly where your support goes. If we raise more than needed, the remaining funds will be donated to a local animal rescue organization in Granada, who will also help Dobby find his forever home.
