We’re reaching out to you today to support an extraordinary woman who’s facing one of life’s toughest battles: breast cancer.

Monique, a vibrant and generous soul, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. This diagnosis came suddenly and without warning just before Christmas.

After some very invasive surgery, she's now begun chemotherapy—an incredibly challenging journey, both physically and emotionally.

For over twenty years, Monique has dedicated her life to working with children with special needs as an educational assistant. Her boisterous laugh, boundless kindness, and unwavering patience have touched countless lives. Now, she needs our support.

Due to her treatment, Monique is unable to work, and the financial burden is growing quickly. Adding more stress to the situation, the health coverage with blue cross for the educational assistants has no short or long term disability benefits. So we’re aiming to raise money to help cover her essential cost of living—rent, utilities, groceries, and a cleaning service, if possible—so she can focus souly on her healing.
