Helping Katie kick cancer!

Hi everyone, On March 14th 2014 my sister in law Katie was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She was admitted to the hospital as this cancer is very fast to take over, she started treatment right away. For those of you who are not aware of what type of cancer this is it is cancer of the blood, curable yet a very long road ahead of her as far as treatment and time away from home. Katie will need treatments for the next 24 months to treat the cancer, if she is cancer free for 5 years she will be cured. Katie has been extremely strong as well as postitive and know she has God by her side!  This page is set up to help with the medical costs as chemotherapy while in the hospital and out for the next 2 years is going to be very expensive. As some may not know Katie has 3 children, a 16 year old, a 6 year old as well as a 3 year old, this has been very difficult on Katie being away from her kids and not seeing them, and hard on the kids not being able to be with their mommy, but she knows that to get better she has to feel worse to be the best mommy she can be for them, they have an amazing family and support by their sides and know they can kick cancers butt!
