Support Rudy's Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer

Hello family and friends .. My husband Rudy, or you may know his as "Porkie" has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer .. Our goal here is to raise some money for him to be comfortable medically and financially while he continues with chemotherapy for the next 6 months..

2024 ended with a routine colonoscopy, only to find out he needed another colonoscopy at a bigger hospital with special equipment because the polyp that needed to be removed was larger then expected, and in a different position for them to extract it.

In March he had the removal of his appendix and a 2nd colonoscopy the which resulted in them finding a tumor that was tested and came back positive for invasive colon cancer.

On April 14th he had surgery which resulted in them removing the tumor and part of his colon along with the lymph nodes .They also found 2 small spots of cancer outside of the colon on the liver an the other spot on the wall of the body cavity. Because the cancer has spread from one point to another it makes him still a stage 4 cancer patient. He has been recovering well from the surgery .

He saw the oncologist yesterday and Rudy needs to go back next week to have a port put in his chest so he can start receiving extensive chemotherapy for the next six months..

Unfortunately he will not be able to work on a consistent basis due to the multiple side effects of the chemotherapy his boy will have to overcome….
