My best friend

And this is Pluto, Mr Beans or my little sack of Beans.

Pluto was taken to the emergency vet yesterday as he was unable to produce any urine for the past two days. I went in thinking they were gonna tell me he has a bad UTI, little did I know that after 7hrs of waiting at the vet, they were gonna give me news that would shatter my world.

Plutos initial diagnosis shows he has prostatic cancer. Just a year ago, I had taken him to the vet to remove a tumour on his leg, so I thought I was good. Little did I know that my little cuddle buddy, the love of my life was also dealing with cancer. The vet explained my options, and informed me he would need a stent done by the surgical team and that the stent alone would cost me $20,000. Just to diagnose him today has cost $7079. I wouldn’t be asking for this if it wasn’t urgent, but my only other option would be euthanasia as she has informed me., since unlike humans dogs cannot have catheters attached to them at all time to help them with urinating. I could never let him down like that, he maybe the one who has always protected me, but I am his guardian and will always do whatever I can to help my little buddy. He is the sweetest, most loving angel, and I am an extremely lucky person to have known him and lived with him. Please help my little buddy get better.
