Help Josh Fight
Donation protected
This is my brother Josh. He was just diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer. Josh is a fighter and a fun-loving guy who just likes to laugh, be outdoors and enjoy life. Josh is 47 years old.
A little over 3 years ago we lost our dad to Pancreatic cancer, after a 4 year battle. We have fight in our family. At my dad’s diagnosis, the doctors gave him 3-6 months. My dad beat all odds, made it into medical journals and baffled the Pancreatic Cancer community in Pittsburgh. Josh has a lot of my dad in him.
I want to give Josh the best life he can possibly have for whatever time is left. He is a farmer, has minimal insurance because of working for a self-employed enterprise.
He will continue to work for as long as is medically possible. My dad did the same, which, we feel, is part of the reason why he was able to fight for as long as he did, because he continued to do what he loved and be around people who encouraged and loved him.
Medical bills have already started to roll in. Josh, today, was extremely stressed due to having to begin Lovanox shots for extensive blood clotting in his leg and both lungs. Luckily, the doctors worked to figure out a way to eliminate that cost for Josh.
I hate to see my brother in pain and then also stressed about trying to keep himself alive with drugs that he cannot afford.
If you find it in your hearts to donate to his cause, we will be forever grateful
