Our beautiful cat Mama (Emerald) needs surgery!! She is currently losing all of her premolars and molars due to juvenile periodontal disease. The doctor informed us that this may be a result of an underlying issue from when she used to live on the streets prior to being rescued combined with genetics. Mama will now need to go under anesthesia and have the doctors extract all of her back top and bottom teeth before things take a turn for the worst. Unfortunately, our pet insurance does not cover pre-existing conditions so we have to pay out of pocket for most, if not all, of the costs. Without this surgery, the results will be fatal and our hearts will be broken. She has become a huge part of our little family since May 2020. Please help us save her life!!
