McIntyre Family Fund

This fund is set up to help the family of Alonzo McIntyre. Alonzo is a wonderful father, husband, and grandfather who has always worked very hard to provide for his family.Monday afternoon, while on a job in Rifle, CO Alonzo went into a Sickle Cell Crisis. He was transferred by ambulance to Grand Junction, where, after 3 days of exhausting all of their resources, he was air lifted on life support to the University of Colorado Hospital of Denver, CO. We now know he is battling respiratory complications, pneumonia, and what was believed to be acute chest syndrome. Doctors are also working diligently to understand why he continues to run fevers. He is currently being treated by an amazing team of Doctors and specialists in the intensive care unit at The University of Colorado Medical Center. Including one of the top Sickle Cell specialists in the Country. Many of you are asking how you can help and we all know that the power of prayer is strong but the family needs a bit of help with hotel stays since they are not able to be in their home state of New Mexico. This morning Alonzo's son Jess posted this on his facebook account: "Because of his condition we expect that he will not be leaving anytime in the near future. If you know me....well everyone in my family, it is hard for us to ask for help. I have at this time swallowed my pride and I am asking friends and family to help with any possible donations for food and medical expenses.
