Fighting stage 3 Breast Cancer

Hello, My name is Patrice Brunson. I am a 35 year old single mother of a 15 year old, beautiful girl. In December of 2023, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am currently out of work (FMLA) and going through chemotherapy. Because I am at stage 3 of breast cancer, my oncologist is treating it aggressively. These first couple of treatments have been debilitating. You may or may not know that during times like this, our responsibility’s are staring back at us (bills, medical bills, copayments, food&shelter, etc). Your generosity will help towards those responsibilities. Transitioning from a full time, hard working woman at UPMC Hospital, to waiting for help has hurt financially, emotionally and pridefully. This has been a humbling experience, non the less.
