Tammy Berryman: Mother of 3 girls, friend to many, caring sister, daughter and Nana.

My sisters and I write today to tell you about our amazing mother and to ask for help for her, as she has recently been diagnosed with cancer. In this technological world, of which we live, we find ourselves so grateful that a platform exists that allows people to create a virtual fundraiser for times such as these.

Tammy has surgery on 11-20-23 to remove a large cancerous tumor in her lung. This surgery will require removal of one lobe of her lung, known as a lobectomy. Following the surgery, she will continue treatment to ensure the cancer has all been eliminated. The continued treatments will likely be chemotherapy or radiation; we will know more precisely what the recommended treatments are, after the surgery.

As you can imagine, the costs of healthcare leading up to, during, and after this surgery are and will be tremendous. Tammy has had to take many days off work due to her declining health and will not be able to physically perform her job for an unknown amount of time after. Due to bills of everyday living, such as mortgage, electric, water, etc., as well as the medical bills adding up, we come to our friends, family, and anyone else who finds themselves on this page, to ask for any financial help you may be able to offer; Five dollars, a dollar, any amount is helpful and greatly appreciated. The money given will go directly to an account for Tammy to help her to cover the many expenses. If you are reading this, we thank you for your time and care.
