June 11th, 2013 the Doctors determined that it was Stage Four Stomach Cancer...
Our world hasn't been the same since...
July 7th, 2013 my moms FIGHT begins with her first round of Chemo...Her treatments continued...
October 23rd, 2013 the results from the PET scan are in! My mom's Oncologist Dr. Merrill Shum (One of GOD's Angels) exclaims that there are NO signs of the cancer. Dr. Shum ws so shocked that it brought him to tears. He said "Most patients at stage 4 dont start seeing results for atleast 8 months and yet you fought it in three and a half months! It's truly amazing!"
That was almost 2 years ago...
July 20th, 2015 at 8:35am my mom was called home to be with Jesus. My mother would always say "This is my blessing, a BLESSING in disguise." My mom would say that with a smile on her face...She was right, her blessing along with her faith, strength, courage and her strong will to FIGHT proved to be amazing. Her desire to never give up, to keep fighting for her kids, her grand daughter and her marriage impacted so many people's lives and opened so many doors that one can only come to the conclsuion that her "BLESSING" was truly GOD sent...
My mother fought with grace, selflessness, thankfulness and willingness to a degree that not many have seen before, all the way up until her very last breath. I am deeply honored and blessed to have had you as my mother!
Of what you had you gave willingly, while smiling so brightly. Your selflessness and passion for others poured out from your heart, so pure, so genuine and without measure...Heaven is truly blessed to have you!
