Hi friends and family,

Never in a million years did I ever think I would have to make one of these, but here we are. As some of you may know, my dad was recently diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. To say this took us by surprise is an understatement. What started as an emergency room trip for a blood clot ended in a diagnosis that none of us saw coming.

Times like these make me thankful that I was brought up in church because without God, I don’t know how any of us would make it through this. But he is strong, and we serve an even stronger God. We are optimistic, and he has a great treatment plan in place. With that being said, medical bills will start coming. Medical bills that were not expected. Time will need to be taken off of work. Time that was not expected to need taken.

We are all too aware of how tough times are right now. If you are not able to give, please just give some kind and encouraging words to help my dad through this very tough time.
