Helping My Dad
Donation protected
If you don’t want to read the whole story- My Dad is in hospice, I came home from school and my job doesnt start for another two-ish months, my aunt is heartless, and we have no money.
If this seems desperate of me, its because it is :)
My dad has been battling cancer for the last 18 months and the last month has been the hardest without a doubt. We both live with my grandfather and older brother (who is in college). Recently, my grandpa was in the hospital and my evil aunt took it upon her own hands to do a bunch of deceitful things regarding my grandpa and family that have left us a bit helpless. I came home from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater about a month ago so that I could be with my dad because the thought of him going through all of this alone broke my heart. I tried finding a job as quickly as possible and was lucky enough to get hired at Camp Red Leaf, a camp for kids and adults with special needs (if you’re interested, check out their FaceBook page! it’s a wonderful organization). Unfortunately, my job doesn’t start until the end of May. I was just at Walmart buying my dad’s favorite cereal, some milk, and some cat food with the last of the money I have when I realized that its to the point where I should ask for some more help. ANY amount of a donation would be greatly appreciated. I just want to be able to stay in this home as long as possible while my Dad is in his final stages, and be able to put food on the table, do the laundry, etc. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, or even took the time to read this. It means a lot.
