Hi, my name is Jessica Dill and I wanted to start a gofundme for a family that is very close to my heart. The Workman family was involved in a boat accident yesterday, Labor Day. The boat caught on fire with Liz, Dennis, Maddie and Riley on board. Liz, her husband Dennis, granddaughter Riley and Riley’s mother, Maddie were all severely burned. All four of them are currently in the burn unit located in Georgia. All four of them will have surgeries due to the burns. Riley is covered in 80 percent burns. Any donations are appreciated. They have a very very long road ahead of them. Dennis is also self-employed, and this is going to be a long road to recovery for him and his family. Thank you so much. ❤️

I’ve typed and deleted this for over an hour trying to find the words but I’ve realized there are none. I am still trying to get back to everyone as fast as I can. Please be patient with us because we’re all still very much in shock.

As most of you know my family and I were involved in a boating explosion yesterday afternoon. The motor unexpectedly exploded at the dock as we were boarding. Everyone was on the boat except Caleb because he was holding the rope until we got situated. Riley, Liz, Dennis, and I each had a surgery this morning, Caleb did not get burnt. As of right now everyone is stable but hurting. I don’t have pictures of anybody else but we all have 2nd degree burns.

This is the most terrifying experience I’ve have ever gone through. It all seems like a nightmare and I’m just waiting to wake up. I am so very thankful that god was there and helped everybody make it out alive.

I’ll try to keep everyone as updated as possible.
