Michelle's Medical Bills

Hello,

My name is Mae Kennedy and I am currently a nursing student at Kent State University. Throughout my life I've had the benefit of having not one mom, but two. My mom is an absolute rockstar and I thank her for being the biggest supporter of my life and all of my choices. My aunt, who I like to call my second mom, has also been very supportive of me, but she also has treated me as one of her own kids. My aunt was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The type of breast cancer that she was diagnosed with, makes this a little more tricky to compete with. For people that know Michelle, my aunt, they know that she is the fiercest competitors out there. When it comes to sporting events, family game night, or seeing who can catch the dogs outside first, my aunt will put her entire heart and head into it. She is a special education teacher and dedicates her life to making kids smile at the end of the day. She is kind hearted and the biggest jokester I have ever met. She doesn't let this diagnoses define her, rather she merely thinks of it as one of the "games" we play. She always wins too! Although my aunt moves mountains with her bare hands, medical bills do pile up. I'm hoping that as a community we can assist her in her game. However, my aunt doesn't need any "cheating" to win this game, rather we can give her some extra bonus points to help her along the way.
