Hi everyone,

As some of you may know, our friend Devin was diagnosed with CML (Chronic Myeloid Leukemia) on March 1st, 2022 at just 28 years old. He has been hospitalized since February 28th after receiving news from his doctor that his blood work was highly concerning and he needed to seek medical treatment right away. Since then, he has been undergoing tests and biopsies at Albany Med to find out what stage of CML he is in and determine the best course of treatment for his diagnosis. He has just started chemotherapy pills to inhibit the growth and spread of the cancer cells.

CML is a chronic, slow-growing type of blood cancer (leukemia) that happens as a result of a spontaneous gene mutation. The cause of this mutation is unknown. The good news is that CML has a positive prognosis and can be managed through treatment, but Devin will likely have to be on a therapeutic regimen for the rest of his life.

All proceeds will go directly to Devin to help him and his family get a head start on what is likely to be a life-long battle. Anything helps, even just sharing to raise awareness
