Jason Green a father, son, brother, friend and coach gained his wings on Saturday July 16th 2022. He leaves behind his one and only son Jadon (17).
Anyone who knew Jason was blessed to witness his dedication, love, care, thoughtfulness, and passion as a proud father and a mentor in our sports community. He was a huge support to all of those he loved. Jason’s loving energy impacted so many of us over the years. Jason was devoted to the San Diego community through coaching youth football for the last 15 years. He was incredibly driven and encouraged everyone in his life to be the best they could be.
Jason dedicated his life as a father. He poured into his son’s life on and off the field. He used himself as an example of what being a leader looks like. He instilled core values into Jadon such as being determined, self sufficient, working his hardest, and advocating himself.
The loss of a parent not only brings emotional pain, stress, and agony, it also comes with unexpected financial hardships. Jadon just began his college career, and has many expenses as a new student living across country.
We are asking any and everyone to rally around this young man. No child should ever have to bury their parent. Jadon wants to honor his father by achieving each goal they regularly discussed him accomplishing. We are asking for financial assistance to help pay for his father's services and his educational needs.
Please support him while he grieves and heals from this loss.
We understand that everyone is going through their own difficulties recovering from the pandemic and we are thankful for any support you may be able to provide.
Please keep his entire family in your constant prayers. Jason would want his son to accomplish his educational and athletic goals and dreams. We know everything happens for a reason and trust that God will continue his plans for Jason and his son.
I, Melissa Jose will allocate all proceeds directly to Jason’s funeral cost and his son’s future endeavors. Thank you everyone for the outpouring of love and support. The family is forever grateful.
