Senior Master Sergeant Mike Conard is a family man. Having deployed on 4 separate occasions to protect American freedoms,  he has always been there for his children, even if from thousands of miles away. Now stateside, he and his wife has been hit with the unimaginable. 

His youngest, Kylee, was involved in a terrible accident right after Christmas, leaving her hospitalized and in need of years of future medical care.  Their family home is not suited for a wheelchair user either, which she has now become. 

His oldest, Tyler, suffered an accident and wasn't as lucky as his sister. He died on January 15, 2021. Now Mike and his wife have a funeral to plan.
