Help Alec and His Mom Relocate

My name is Alec. My mother and I have faced a very difficult situation as of late - I lost my job, my car broke down, and jobs in my old field (software) have become extremely difficult to come by. I've tried retail/foodservice work, but it simply doesn't pay enough to afford an apartment here in Philadelphia in 2025. Retail workers are largely unable to make enough to rent their own apartments these days, and we're not getting support from the rest of the family.

We're in a tough spot, and due to my low income we're at risk of losing the housing we're currently living in within the next 1-2 months. Things are just too expensive here.

Recently I've managed to find online transcription and annotation work, but the pay is relatively low, and definitely not enough money to be able to survive here in Philadelphia.

That's where we need your help - we need to relocate to a more affordable area. Rents are just too high here. Only if we relocate to another area, out in the country, will we be able to live off the money I'm making. We need help putting down an apartment deposit and buying a new affordable car. From then on, my income will be able to support us and take us forward.
