Hi , my name is Breketta Robertson and I am the birth mother of Baby Rijul ... This year on July 12th marks 30 yrs since innocence was taken from this Earth ...

In 2019 Rijul's story was given a voice , my voice ... On Saturday 7th June I spoke publicly for the first time about the ordeal and what led to the this tragic loss of life.. in doing so I hope I have brought some peace to the community. It certainly has for me .

. My life has not been easy by any means ,,7 years of sexual abuse from my stepfather, abusive relationships, alcoholism, drug addiction, self destructive behaviours , a list of mental illnesses an arm long from trauma, ADHD , autism, losing everything in a house fire 2018 , and the list continues.. but it has been amazing ... Giving me four smart , caring adults , an intelligent,empathetic, creative teenager and two glorious granddaughters .. the pleasure of living in some breathtaking places all over Australia and to have met so many genuinely good people from all walks of life

So this is where I ask for help ... Something I am slowly improving at .

Rijul would have been thirty this year and I have still not been able to bring myself to attend his gravesite ,, but this is the year to visit my baby boy for the first time . Since july 12 1995, when Rijul was buried by the amazing Kambala community his grave site has been identified with jast a plaque with his name ... I would like to finally place a headstone and have it engraved with his full name and details ...

I realise everyone is struggling to afford to live let alone to donate , but I am reaching out to ask for help for the cost associated with the necessary paperwork needed , the headstone purchase engraving etc and mine and my dog, Hel, interstate travel , accommodation and general coats.

Also just a little note .. I'm sure there are people that will want to attend to see the headstone and pay their respects ,, but can I please ask that on July 12 2025 , that I be able to attend his gravesite in privacy ... thankyou so much
