We walked outside to see our cat, laying in the rain, freezing with her back legs completely skinned with their bones sticking out. We rushed her to the nearest clinic and were charged $1006.79 just for admission and x-rays. After this, the radiologists discovered her hip is completely out of place and needs a procedure that is going to cost $5k. Her right leg is also broken and will have to be amputated, which is another $3k. Our family is scraping by as it is, with not even a fraction of that amount in our bank account. This is the cat that we loves and care about so much. With Christmas coming up, it would be excruciatingly painful to have to go through the debts or have to euthanize her.
