For years, Boomer, my loyal black lab, dedicated his life to serving our local communities and schools as a drug detection dog for Sherlock Hounds Detection Canines. His goofy and sweet personality, intelligence, and gentle nature made a lasting impact on countless lives—he kept schools and kids safe and often brought comfort wherever he went.

Now retired, Boomer recently fell critically ill and was admitted to the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital for urgent care. Thanks to their incredible team, he is now making a strong recovery, and his prognosis is very positive. I’m incredibly grateful—but the medical bills have grown beyond what I can manage alone.
