With a little help from my friends

Hi dear friends.

I'm Leo, born and raised in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. We proudly call ourselves "Gauchos from Rio Grande".

Even though I've been living abroad for the last 16 years, I'm still very well connected with my roots and where I came from.

As you might have heard or seen on the news, a terrible flood has destroyed 90% of the state, with many losing everything they had.

It's a catastrophic situation and it's heartbreaking to see the destruction that it has caused to many cities across the state. This catastrophe has been compared to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans in 2005 a

I have 2 dear close friends, Juliano and Marcos, who were impacted by the floods, both lost almost if not everything. Juliano leaves in my hometown, Caxias do Sul, and Marcos lives in Porto Alegre, the state's capital.

Both are married with kids and they now have to start their lives again from scratch. There is a lot of work that will be required for them to get back to live in their houses.

I created this funding to get some financial help to help them in this new chapter.

Any contribution counts, and I appreciate you helping them out.

Once this funding is closed, I will split the amount and share between them.
