This is the story about our mother who has battled for 55 years. Always trying to do her best for anyone and everyone she comes in contact with. She loves to meet new people, get to know everything about them, and create life long relationships.
Hello, my name is Jordan I am Lisa's son. I am 23 years old and I have the best mother I could ever imagine. Along with me on this journey is my older sister Brittany who is 30, and my younger sister Anastasia (Stasi) who is 13. Growing up I learned to always do right by my mother, whether it was being respectful in public as a young boy or to being the best son I can be. My mother has and will do anything for her children to see them happy. She is fearless, a warrior, a kind soul, and further more the best mother we could hope for.
Sadly, my mother throughout her life has dealt with two different kinds of cancer, Uterine cancer and Melanoma skin cancer. With this being said we are no strangers to this awful disease. As I said my mother is a fighter and she will stop at nothing to fight this disease and anything that comes in her way to keep supporting her children.
This is where we hit our next road bump. My mother was just diagnosed with a fast spreading severe breast cancer. We are doing our best to stay positive and be strong for our mother. This will be a long process for us, my mother has to undergo surgery, reconstructive surgery, chemotherapy, radiation. It will be a hard battle to fight but I know my mother is strong and will do anything in her power to fight this off to stay here with us. As I said earlier, this is my mothers third different cancer. She is a survivor and a fighter, and with all of our support I know she will get through this.
To give more insight into our world, we are a very small family. We are on a 1 salary budget. We are struggling to stay afloat as it is. However, these medical bills are starting to come flying in and quite honestly we don't know what to do. My mother is the type of person to always give, never to ask, never to have something in return for the good she does. Whether she's sick or healthy she never wants to ask for help, always wanting to complete things to show she's strong. This is why I am creating this for my mom to please ask for help to pay these insane medical bills. We recently were finally able to afford medical insurance after many years of not having any. During those hard years we had to pay any medical bills fully out of pocket in cash with zero assistance. However we have not even begun to scratch the deductible and out of pocket fee's that come along with the new insurance. Between all the doctor visits, tests, specialists, scans, reconstruction, and coming up in two weeks her surgery we are drowning in bills that wont stop coming for quite sometime.
I understand that anyone coming to this page may not be able to support my mother financially but I beg, even plead with everyone to please spread the word. support from her loved ones. Anyone who has met my mother will know how kind and loving she is, always looking to go the extra mile when someone needs it... even if they don't deserve it.
Although my mother never asks for help, this is from her family who loves her and wants to make sure she gets through this. We are asking for help for her as we know she wont ask for help directly. Anything would be greatly appreciated no matter the size of the contribution.
