On February 24 under the command of a ruthless dictator, Russia invaded Ukraine. This unprovoked war on a democratic peace-loving nation is upsetting to the civilized world. The senseless invasion and killing of innocent people is being witnessed by the world and the images harken back to atrocities committed during World War II. Ukrainians and Ukrainian Americans have a bond through heritage and culture and a deep devotion and love of our native lands. We are steadfast in our commitment to freedom, oppression from dictatorship / communism and are supporting the unfortunate people of Ukraine.

The NJ Kings and NY Kozaks hockey teams have partnered with the Ukrainian American Youth Association of Passaic to organize the Skate for Ukraine charity event.
100% of the collected funds will go directly to organizations working in Ukraine to protect and support the local population.
