Abby Weber, age 15, is a sophomore at Lone Wolf High School who has always dreamed of becoming a Veterinarian. Animals, especially her beloved pets (2 dogs, 3 horses, a cat, a rabbit, a fawn and various frogs and turtles over the years) are her passion.
She absolutely loves living in a rural community and helping her parents, Ronnie and Laura, with their farming and cattle operations. She is fearless and smart when it comesto herding, sorting and working cattle. She demonstrates this same passion and commitment on the basketball court (she plays on both the boys’ and girls’ teams) as well as competing at rodeo events.
Spending time with family, friends from school, the rodeo club and Youth group are definite priorities for Abby.
Abby’s faith is unshakeable! She is a member of the worship team during Sunday services and is a junior leader of the Youth group where her leader refers to her as ‘my sunshine’.

Abby's full and joyous life took an unexpected turn at sundown on September 8, 2019. Her horse, Apollo, reared unexpectedly, slipping on the loose dirt and fell backwards landing on Abby. The saddle horn crushed into the left side of her head. She sustained deep lacerations and facial fractures requiring surgical repair. Evaluation of her vision is continuing.
After the longest thirty-minute drive to the Hospital of Abby and her Mom’s life, Doctors immediately requested that she was to be “CareFlighted” to a Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. There, she would undergo immediate treatment.
Medical bills and travel expenses are quickly adding up for her family. Luckily her parents have health insurance although the deductible has not been met and co-pays are a reality. Travel and lodging expenses are necessary as the Children’s Hospital is 120 miles or 2 ½ hours away in Oklahoma City. Anything to help our precious Abby would be ultimately appreciated.
Abby’s Faith in the one true living God and His Son, Jesus Christ, is a testimony to all…
Thank you and God Bless.
