My name is Elizabeth Herbert. I am 20 years old and I have recently graduated from Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock TX. With a B.A in Biblical Theologies degree, focused on Deaf ministry.I have gained an incredible amount of knowledge about God and His Word, the Good News and how to apply and share it with others.  As I am looking to the future and this summer, I have an incredible opportunity to go on a mission trip to Northern New Zealand. I will be going with two of my classmates; Jenna and Aimee. Jenna is a native New Zealander and has worked hard to put this vision together. The local Churches are encouraging us to break ground on this vital mission work. Statistically, New Zealand is one of the most difficult fields in the world, but we are determined to share Christ. Our mission and goal, is to work and encourage the Body of Christ and reach out to those who do not know their Savior. One congregation, we intend to work with is composed of fellow Sunset graduates. God has graciously provided us with an individual who desires to study the Word with us, as soon as possible. I am looking forward to seeing what God does in that individual! Additionally, we have a Ladies Day which we will be participating in. Evangelistic outreach is our top priority; discipling and guiding them to Christ. A brother in Christ, will be leading our group to a New Zealand mountaintop worship. In addition, we will be researching the urgent need of Church planting within the country of New Zealand. Observing the possibility of establishing a long-term mission field. After graduating, I will be in flying out the beginning of June and will be returning late July/early August. In order, to go on this trip; I am praying for $2000 by the end of May. I hope you will consider joining me in this excellent outreach through prayer, and financial support.
