Around midnight on January 17, Back Home Country Cookin' was engulfed by flames and unfortunatley the structure was lost. However, the spirit of Back Home is still very much alive, will rebuild and live on.  Owner, Brenda Landis has owned and   operated Back Home Country Cookin' for 7 years, serving Strawberry Point, surrounding communities, and passers through with breakfast, lunch and dinner.  She has also made over 15,000 pies that have touched the hearts of people world wide. Funds raised will help support Brenda with personal and business expenses not covered by insurance while Back Home Country Cookin' is being rebuilt.  Back Home has been a place where family and friends have come together to share in a cup of coffee and pie or Sunday brunch, but most importantly a place where you share in the commradity, love and friendship of Brenda and her staff.  It's where you can come "Back Home".
